ScripturePass Privacy Policy

ScripturePass ("the app") is built to help you memorize Scripture instead of scrolling. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and what it isn't used for.

What we collect

ScripturePass stores the following information locally on your device:

• Your selected verse goal (for example, Anxiety, Focus, Peace)
• Which apps you've chosen to lock
• Your daily streak and practice history
• Any custom verses you type in yourself
• Your subscription plan status

This information stays on your device. We do not operate a server that collects or stores it.

App blocking and Screen Time

On iOS, ScripturePass uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls) to let you choose which apps to shield. Apple's framework keeps the identity of the apps you select private from the app itself and from us. We never see which specific apps you've picked.

On Android, the app uses the Accessibility API to detect when a locked app opens, entirely on your device. This detection never leaves your phone.

Subscriptions and payments

Purchases are processed by Apple (via StoreKit) and managed through RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase and transaction data to verify your subscription status. It does not receive your verses, goals, or app selections. You can review RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads.
• We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't require an account, login, or email address to use the app.

Bible text

Verses in ScripturePass are from the King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain.

Deleting your data

You can erase all locally stored app data at any time using "Reset All Data" in Settings. This permanently clears your streak, goal, and verse history from your device.

Children's privacy

ScripturePass does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not collect contact information, location, or any personally identifiable data from any user, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
